In Germany a number of additional racetracks has been built after the reunification. Before German reunification, there were only 2 circuits known in the west of Germany, Hockenheimring and Nurburgring. After the reunification numerous race tracks were built in the eastern states and unused tracks like the Sachsenring have been revitalized. New tracks are Oschersleben and Lausitzring. Reactivated have been Sachsenring and the Schleizer Dreieck where we have no trainings due to extremely repressive noise regulations. The latest German racetrack Bilster Berg Drive resort is located in the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest and opens in 2013.
